GATE 2012 Preparation Guide


In 2011, I launched a first GATE preparation to support with all the information needed for a student to crack GATE apart from technical guide. Covered almost all the topics and lead the whole guide till last minutes to the GATE exam. I hope that helped many students to find right information and motivation in one place.
Time has moved so fast, looks like few days before I was writing posts related to GATE 2011 and now realized that the time has come to start writing for GATE 2012. Just to share with you all the post GATE 2011: A complete preparation guide was read over a million times in 2011. It covered many topics needed for students to understand GATE exam and M.Tech admissions. In 2012 I would like make an effort with a better approach towards GATE preparation. In the GATE preparation guide I will not only cover GATE 2011 details but also concentrate on motivational letter to keep you in track and stay focused with GATE 2012 goal.
This Guide will include the following topics and more topics will be added as and then information available. Students GATE Forums

Forums started by students in social networking sites like Orkut, facebook etc. If you are moderator and have a good number of students in your forum please contact me at zahid@inspirenignite.com , We will definitely promote your community and group. (if you are some website owner, coaching center, or some commercial vendor for GATE lectures or online lectures and started a community or page (please do not bother yourself to contact). In 2011 there was not much information on this, but in 2012 you will an inspirenignite forum to make community of students to help each other.

GATE 2010 Analysis and cutoffs

Once M.Tech admissions in 2011 are over, I will try to make a complete GATE Cutoff lists as I made in GATE 2009 Cutoff scores and GATE 2010 cutoffs posts. If official source of information is not available we need to think about alternate ways make this list possible. Also refer to below articles for more information about GATE 2011.

GATE 2011 Results and analysis for admissions

As of now PSUs are offering great opportunities through GATE 2012. I hope in future there will be many more companies offer jobs through GATE exams. This definitely going to add huge competition and a reason to prepare well for GATE.

M.Tech Admissions 2012

A list of M.Tech admission notification in all IITs, NITs, IIITs and Top universities, same as M.Tech admissions 2011 will be made available to all the students.
In 2012 we are also planning to include Non-GATE Admissions in private colleges too, this will depend on the volunteers will and wish.

Making of GATE 2012 preparation Guide

This list is the result of one year experience with post GATE situation. Hope we learn more in 2012 and make a better Guide for GATE 2013 preparations.
I will be updating each section as soon as we make complete details about it. We are in the process of making it happen and request all of you to actively participate in surveys and polls to give as accurate and helpful as possible information to the students who are coming from the path we already traveled.
I expect a similar support from a wide student community across the nation and request all of you to share with your friends, juniors, and classmate. On the same time please constantly support the bigger community with the information and experience you have. I wish you all a great luck and bright future ahead.
